Hollywood Casino NJ Review

Hollywood Casino/ ESPN Bet offers a multi-step signup process that’ll take you a few minutes to get through – we know because we signed up to test the site. To start the process, use the links provided in this review, and you’ll be taken straight to the registration page; then, it’s a case of simply following these steps.

Step 1: Check you have your ID and the last four digits of your SSN to hand, then click “Get Started.”

Step 2: Fill in your email and phone number, then create a username and password – click “Continue.”

Step 3: Go to the email address you gave on the previous page and look for an email from ESPN Bet. Input the verification code from this email into the signup form.

Step 4: Set your responsible gambling limits, like a daily spending limit or loss limit. You don’t need to set any limits, but we recommend using the budgeting tools.

Step 5: Read and confirm the terms and conditions and other items on the checklist.

Step 6: Follow the instructions, submitting a picture of your ID and a selfie.

Step 7: Once your account is approved, you can use your new Hollywood Casino login to start playing!

The games lobby at Hollywood Casino NJ is not the largest in the state (the average casino has 600 games), but it’s a great collection of hit games and player favorites. All the games in the lobby are available via mobile and tablet, and there are some excellent titles such as Dead or Alive, Turn Your Fortune, Divine Fortune, Cleopatra, Siberian Storm, Bloodsuckers, Bankin’ Bacon, Big Bucks Bandits Megaways, and more. What we loved most about this collection is that despite its smaller size, it has a great range of software and game styles, from jackpots to Megaways, new slots, classics, and unmissable video options.

For each game in the lobby, you’ll see the game developer and min/max bets underneath the tile. If you click through to play the game, you’ll get more info, like the RTP and the storyline breakdown. This is awesome as it gives players everything they need to know to pick a title to play quickly.

As the lobby is not large, sophisticated navigation is not necessary. Thus, the games at Hollywood Casino can be sorted by game type, or you can “view all.” This is very basic but appropriate for the size of the lobby. We’ve seen much better navigation at other NJ online casinos.

Hollywood Casino impresses when it comes to payment speed, processing, and options. Not only is there a wealth of different payment options, but the limits are flexible, and timings are lightning-fast with several instant cashout methods.

The casino states that the deposit and withdrawal limits, in most cases, are set by the payment provider, except where we have listed a maximum amount. Whether there is a limit listed or not, all budgets are covered, as you can make multiple transactions daily, should you wish.

We tested different payment methods, finding that Skrill and PayPal offered the best two-way, fast, and secure transactions. With each of these methods, our deposits took just seconds to arrive, and the cashout was in our account within minutes – this is fantastic, as players value speedy casino transactions.

Hollywood Casino is licensed by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, which ensures that the games are safe, the site is secure, and the operator pays out all winnings. Hence, there’s nothing to worry about regarding paying and playing at this online casino.

The platform and product has also been tested and approved by other US regulators, like the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and Michigan Gaming Control Board, which provides additional reassurance.

During our testing sessions, we found that Hollywood Casino supports players in responsible gambling and has a range of account tools to prove it. Adjust your account with time-outs, betting, deposit, and time limits.

If you’d like further support, you can also discuss your gambling habits with a fully-trained support team member or arrange a state-wide exclusion from online gambling via the NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement.
